London Marathon runners needing sports massage have been flooding through the doors of our Mayfair and Highbury clinics this month! It’s really exciting to share the buzz of those preparing for such an incredible feat.
It’s in this next few weeks of marathon training that sports injuries often happen. We’ve noticed that once an 18 miler has been run, often the hard training athlete will try to go *that* bit faster, feel a ‘twang’ and then carry on through the pain. DON’T! If you feel pain, aside from the merciless agony of lactic acid and bursting lungs that is, STOP! and apply the R.I.C.E. principles;
